Twig Ball
(completed 2007)

5 dia. (1.53 m)
Metal wagon wheel rim, chicken wire, twigs, copper wire

Twig Ball is an installation piece done as part of a one-week adult art class I taught at a camp in Maine. Neither of the two students had ever done an environmental piece. Looking at an empty soccer field, they decided that a large ball made of local detritus would be appropriate. Location of work: Harrison, ME
